Will also look at youth driven projects but no gross-out movies. WHALE RIDER, HOLES, THIRTEEN, THE NOTEBOOK, MEAN GIRLS, BOTTLE ROCKET. Thrillers - no "hack and slash" projects; psychological thrillers and smart horror okay. PANIC ROOM, THE OTHERS, THE RING. Dramas - character and story driven screenplays that will attract talent. SIDEWAYS, IN THE BEDROOM, PERSONAL VELOCITY, ROGER DODGER, GARDEN STATE, OPEN WATER, THE COOLER. Currently looking for a small budget character driven drama or comedy set in middle America. Television - unique, character driven projects with smart, solid dialogue. |

Don't try to chase Hollywood. By the time a successful movie hits your local cineplex, 35 clones of that picture have already been written and pitched. Although it's a tough challenge, try to be the one that Hollywood chases. |

Rehearse your pitch and keep it tight. If the story interest us, we'll get it. I once developed a screenplay from a 40 second pitch. |
