Get ready for the Pitch Fests and learn three different styles of pitching!

  1. The Quick Pitch
Pitch quickly and avoid "producer tune-out." A written template helps writers define the key elements of their screenplay, and pitch their project in under a minute.
  2. The Long Pitch
A studio pitch meeting is no excuse for "writer babble." Learn pitch techniques focused on engaging the listener while also keeping your story on track.
  3. The Personal Pitch
Producers and agents want to know that you're as interesting and original as your project. Learn ways to break the ice, get their attention and keep them entertained as you segue into a script sale.

Video Pitch

Practice your short pitch with Pilar's instruction, and then apply your knowledge in your own video pitch. You will have the chance to film your pitch at the studio and to upload it onto StoryLink.com's newest online pitching service, PitchPerfect. Get your pitch heard by Industry Professionals twenty-four hours a day in a safe, secure area of StoryLink. Include your log line, genre, and synopsis to grab the attention of Industry Professionals who are actively looking for new material.
